I can now happily announce that The Funnel will release on April 23rd 2026. It's been a long time building to this moment and we're really excited to get the game into your hands as soon as possible. And it wouldn't be a release date announcement without a slick new trailer, so here you go:
RELEASE DATE TRAILER:
DEMO UPDATE:
Coming back from the expos last week, we realized there were a number of improvements that would make The Funnel Demo easier to get into. So we've just launched a new update to the demo that we hope will make our tutorials easier to understand and make the opening a little more lively.
Added a new pre-interview intro featuring a scene from before the player's transfer, including a new minigame.
Added player sprinting.
Revamped gear box and mail tutorials to use less text and limit confusing options.
Added elevator floor indicators.
Added central clock indicators.
Shortened the bed and desk animations.
Added feedback form and discord link.
Improved NPC collision avoidance reactions.
CHOOSE WISELY FESTIVAL:
Lastly as mentioned in our previous post, we're part of the Choose Wisely Festival with a whole bunch of other incredible narrative games. Please check it out if you like branching narrative games!
Thanks for reading and we hope you're as excited for the full launch as we are.
If you've already played the demo, we'd really appreciate you using the new feedback form in the main menu as we're always looking for ways to improve the game. And if you know someone that you think would like The Funnel, share it around.
May the gears keep turning.
