As promised a few weeks back, here is the demo update! This will be the last content update to the demo outside of bug fixes as we move all our focus to finishing up The Funnel for release.
Also, we'll be participating in October's Steam Next Fest! So keep an eye out for that.
Save Files:
In regards to saves, I would recommend deleting all your old demo saves and creating new ones with this update. Old saves might still work, but they could cause bugs and unfortunately we have to prioritize the full game over maintaining demo save cross version-compatibility.
Patch Notes
The Ira heart attack sequence now has six possible outcomes with more reactivity that takes into account things like the player assembly count, number of books read, and NPC trust levels.
Fixed dice minigame rolls occasionally recording the wrong number.
Removed Processor VO to prepare for new dialogue SFX system.
Added Demo Version save checker (Will inform you if your demo saves are out of date).
Improved NPC obstacle avoidance (They've learnt how to step left instead of just right!).
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the changes we've made to the demo. We always appreciate reviews, but if you have any feedback or bugs and want to contact me directly, you can do so here: [email protected]
Next week we'll get to that last character dive for your third crew member: Ira.
