Major Update 1.21 introduces a completely new way to experience a football match: you can now play the entire game as the VAR referee.
Stay inside the VAR Room, follow every decision made on the pitch and be ready to intervene when the main referee gets something wrong.

Use the room's monitors freely to follow the action.
Analyze suspicious decisions from different cameras.
Look for mistakes made by the main referee.
Intervene when you believe a decision needs to be corrected.
Earn extra points for correctly identifying and fixing refereeing mistakes.
Keep your eyes open. If something doesn't look right, review it. 👀
⚽ MAJOR PHYSICS & ANIMATION IMPROVEMENT
We've made significant improvements to both player and ball physics, making physical interactions much easier to understand and analyze.
More realistic tackles and player-to-player contact.
Improved shots, headers and ball strikes.
Shirt pulling and physical challenges are now much easier to notice.
Sliding tackles make it clearer whether the defender actually touched the ball or the opponent.
These improvements are especially important when analyzing incidents through VAR or watching them in slow motion.
🎥 SMOOTHER REPLAYS & SLOW MOTION
We've significantly improved the replay system.
More precise replay playback.
Improved details such as shot particles and net movement.
The entire match is now recorded at twice the previous FPS, making slow-motion playback much smoother.
Combined with the new physics, this makes a huge difference when analyzing football in slow motion and from different angles.
🧠 IMPROVED AI
We've adjusted several AI parameters to make players behave more naturally and create more elaborate football.
Expect smarter combinations, more technical actions, more nutmegs and more creative attacking play.
More strategy. More creativity. More beautiful football. ⚽
