📢 Motion Soccer 1.14: New Automatic VAR System
Referee Mode takes another major step forward with a completely rebuilt automatic VAR system. Reviews are now clearer, more visual and much easier to understand, giving you better information without taking the final decision away from you.
📺 NEW AUTOMATIC VAR SYSTEM
VAR can now detect key reviewable moments more clearly
When VAR spots a possible incident, it can show visual evidence on the referee tablet
The review includes a captured image from the key moment of the play
A short text explains what VAR has detected and why it recommends intervention
The final decision is still always yours
This makes VAR feel much more natural, visual and believable. Now you do not just hear the alert. You can actually see what VAR has spotted.
🧑⚖️ ACCEPT, IGNORE OR REVIEW
When an automatic VAR review appears, you can choose how to respond
You can accept the VAR recommendation directly
You can ignore the warning and keep your original decision
Or you can enter the interactive replay to review the play in more detail
After watching the replay, you return to the VAR panel to make the final call
Every review now feels like a real refereeing moment.
VAR helps you, but the responsibility remains in your hands.
🎧 MORE NATURAL VAR FLOW IN VR AND NON-VR
In VR, VAR can warn you by audio without stopping the match automatically
The VAR information appears on your left hand with the image and explanation
If you decide to intervene and blow the whistle, the full decision options appear
In non-VR mode, VAR also warns you by audio without stopping the match automatically
The full VAR panel only appears if you decide to act
The match keeps flowing better, and the review only becomes official when you choose to intervene.
🚩 MORE OFFSIDES TO CATCH
The AI has been humanized so attackers no longer respect the defensive line with perfect precision
Forwards will now fall offside more often
If you play as the referee, you will need to stay more alert
Assistant referees are going to have more work too
Offside situations now feel more frequent, more realistic and more fun to judge.
💥 STRONGER PLAYER COLLISIONS
Player collisions have been improved
Players now protect their space better, especially during corners and free kicks
Small pushes and physical battles can now happen more naturally
As a player, you can also try to impose yourself physically
But be careful: go too far and you may concede a foul or even receive a yellow card
As a referee, you can once again hit players. Why? Because it is fun. That is the whole explanation
Football is physical.
Now Motion Soccer shows that a little better.
🎽 NEW SPECIAL CELEBRATION
Some decisive goals can now trigger a special shirt-removal celebration
This can happen after dramatic goals scored in the final minutes of stoppage time
It may be punished with a yellow card
But let’s be honest: some goals are worth it
Big moments now have bigger celebrations.
🧑⚖️ FASTER ACCESS TO REFEREE MODE
If you download the game and go straight into Referee Mode, you no longer need to watch the intro video first
You also do not need to choose controls before entering
Less waiting, more refereeing
This update makes Referee Mode clearer, smarter and more spectacular.
VAR now shows you what it sees.
Players fight harder for space.
Attackers fall offside more often.
And when the match reaches its biggest moments, the drama feels bigger too.
