Career mode is available and ready for testing! Check out the new features, let us know what you like, and if you have ideas for making Airflow better!

Realism
The pressure increases in career mode by restricting your options. Just list real controllers, you don't have the luxury of pausing or speeding up time like in practice mode. You will also be managing peak traffic levels at 100% flow rate with arrivals, departures and secondary airports all enabled automatically.

Experience
Build experience at each position by completing flights. The number of flights required to reach each experience level depends on the position flow rate. For example if the flow rate at a position is 10 flights per hour, the number of flights required for each experience level is as follows:
Trainee (0 flights)
Junior (10 flights)
Associate (20 flights)
Senior (40 flights)
Veteran (80 flights)

Shift Bonus
Earn a 50% score bonus by completing an entire shift length. You can set your shift length in the main menu between 30 and 120 minutes. At the end of the selected shift length, your score multiplies by 1.5. You can continue playing and adding to your score, but the shift bonus only multiplies to your score during the original shift time.

Certification
Complete a 60+ minute shift with >90% efficiency to become certified at a position.
Certifications, controller level, and region master achievements will give you a strong reputation for teaming up with others in multiplayer mode!
Controller Level
The highest-level position where you have earned a certification determines your controller level. For example, earning a certification at Spokane Approach (GEG_APP) will increase your controller level to 2.

Region Master
Earn a certification at every position in a region to unlock a region master achievement.

Leaderboards
Practice mode will no longer count towards leaderboard standings. Scores will only submit to the leaderboards when played in career mode.
