This season, we've strengthened the detection and punishment of illegitimate means of boosting rank in ranked matches. Currently, it appears that the boosting problem has been effectively eliminated. However, because the monitoring rules have become stricter, some players have been affected when normally queuing for ranked games, and we have already identified these situations. We will optimize and improve this issue as soon as possible in the next update. Our goal is still to ensure the best possible experience for players who queue normally, while not allowing unfair behaviors.
There has been ongoing discussion among players about certain treasure combinations being too powerful when used together. This situation does objectively exist. From a gameplay perspective, we'd like to incorporate certain Combo characteristics into the treasure mechanism design, making treasure selection more targeted and strategic. From a balance perspective, if the treasure Combo strength is too high, we should consider reducing the numerical strength of treasures, but this creates another issue: without forming a Combo, the numerically reduced treasures would become too weak, resulting in many treasures only being suitable when part of a Combo and noticeably weak without one. Therefore, simply reducing the numerical values of Combo treasures doesn't seem to be a good solution.
Considering the strong randomness and uncertainty in our game, we are considering a future optimization direction: reducing the probability of treasures with Combo effects achieving their Combo scenarios. Simply put, if you get one treasure, the probability of getting another treasure that can form a Combo effect will be appropriately reduced compared to treasures without such effects. Regarding how to prevent treasure Combos from becoming too unbalanced, if you have better ideas, please feel free to comment and discuss.
