Hiya Cheesemunchers,
Simon & White G in the house. If you’re like “who the heck is this guy?” - maybe you’ve bumped into my other games like this game, this game, and now this game, which has very little time left until its release. Pre-release excitement is growing stronger by the day and I recorded a video to share something really melty that I've been cooking up for a while.
So here’s the deal: When I look at Adrian Carmack's work on Doom or Kevin Kilstorm's work on Blood, I think that's what game development is all about. Uninhibited world-building and letting your imagination run wild. 🌈💣 When I started working on my game, I explored different styles and ultimately went with rubber hose, but I still miss that phase of exploring. So, take note…👂
I'm announcing a CHEESEART CONTEST.
Wanna learn the details but too lazy to read? Got you! Hit play on the video:
If Bad Cheese sparks anything in your brain, 🧠 don’t overthink it. Just make some cursed art, 👹 toss it my way. To HONOR CREATORS LIKE YOU, I made these Painmouse figurines and vinyl stickers for the winners!
Please send your works to my email address (wassup[at]lukasik.art) and upload them to the Steam Artwork Page. Deadline’s October 1st, and Gary and I will announce the winners on Halloween. 🎃
15 of you cheesy legends will score some merch. 👑 Don’t leave me hanging or I’ll be swimming in stickers. 🧀
Big thanks to all the YouTubers already spreading the stink, I mean hype, who made pre-release videos about the game, and fingers crossed for IGN’s review. Dropping your creation into the world is hype but also kinda nerve-wracking, you know? 😱
Anyway, I gotta bounce - still cooking the Release Trailer and smashing bugs. 🐛🪲🐞🦟 I’ll drop another vid for launch day. 📼🚀
And hey.. remember... Stay cheeseful
Two Mammals 🦶🦴
