Hey everyone!
We have just announced our upcoming game Seven Times To Die :)
It is a 2D top down RPG/ Strategic Deckbuilder. We were heavily inspired by the themes and visuals of Final Fantasy as well as Rabbit and Steel, which led to our High Fantasy setting. As for our deckbuilding combat system, it was inspired by sequencer based games, in particular Magicraft! :)
In Seven Times To Die, as a player, you get to build and select a deck of cards to bring with you on a roguelite style run. The runs are interspersed with challenging boss fight events and you will need to use your cards strategically, when you draw a hand of 4-6 cards every interval. The order in which you cast these cards greatly affects the outcome!
While we are still building up towards our official demo later this year, we hope you will give us a follow (a Wishlist would be appreciated greatly). We will continue to post regular updates on the development of the game as well as any events that we might participate in. Tentatively, we will be releasing our demo sometime around the mid of October (which is quite soon!). We will also be participating in Tokyo Game Show 2024 with the Starpixel Booth at O2-C12. If you are a publisher interested in working with us, press partners, or even just a player who is keen to try out our demo, do pop by our booth and enquire about us :)
Oh yeah, and before we forget, of course we are participating in NEXT fest this october! We have already sent in our registrations so fingers crossed!
That's all for now and we hope to see you again soon!
