Hello, Pebble Knights!
The second hotfix for v0.1.24 is now live. We've added a Personal Best UI and leaderboard rankings, along with improvements to controls and interactions such as wiggling and door interactions.
Check out the full details below.
[Features & QoL Improvements]
Records & Rankings
Added a Personal Best UI to the main menu, showing your best record and top percentile (%) for the current difficulty.
The lobby results ranking now includes each player's final level and rankings by MVP count. The real pecking order of the Order starts now.
Controls & Interactions
You can now press any button on a gamepad to break free while wiggling. While wiggling, controls other than movement and attacks are restricted.
Some objects that previously required pressing F can now be activated by approaching them and filling the interaction gauge. (Angel Statue / Roulette / AI Panel / Wall Maria Boss Summoner)
Pinging now displays an exclamation mark at your location, making it easier for everyone to find each other. Lost Knights, no more worries!
Improved the visibility of open doors in the Underworld. The top of the door now remains visible even when it is open, making its state easier to identify.
Improved the appearance of Combat Doors, Boss Doors, and Final Boss Doors to make them easier to distinguish.
Other Improvements
Improved gamepad controls for Grave Wiggle.
Items knocked away by Grave Wiggle now deal damage when they hit monsters.
Added a chance to perform a super jump while using Grave Wiggle.
Grave Wiggle now also knocks back nearby monsters.
Added the ability to skip the final credits. The ending is touching, but we know everyone's in a hurry the second time around.
Improved item pickup controls to make it easier to grab the item you want.
[Bug Fixes]
Fixed an issue where clicking during the loading screen could cause the game to stop responding and then close.
Fixed an issue where two cursors could appear when opening the ESC menu while certain UI windows were open.
Fixed an issue where certain items would disappear instantly without the blinking effect.
Fixed an issue where the Trait UI slot icon would not bounce when holding an item with the same Trait as one of your permanent Traits.
Fixed an issue where gamepad focus would not activate when opening Settings or the ESC menu, causing only the player character to rotate.
Fixed an issue where two copies of the player could appear during Trait Ascension. We never taught anyone how to clone themselves.
Fixed an issue where the game could become permanently stuck during the lobby ready countdown if another player joined.
Fixed an issue where controls could become locked if the game started while the Bot Settings UI was open in the lobby.
Fixed an issue where attempting to join a lobby that no longer existed could prevent you from creating or joining another lobby afterward.
Fixed an issue where some Order members' screens could freeze during consecutive Ascensions.
Fixed an issue where the camera could stutter if you moved while holding a target during the vomiting animation after defeating the Giga Bite boss.
Fixed an issue where multiple camera effects could overlap during the final credits.
Fixed a visual issue where 99999 damage text appeared when the Witch's summons disappeared all at once. It looked devastating, but sadly, the damage wasn't real.
Changed some visuals, including Weaponmon's pet, Blood Corruption, and Pexman, to appear semi-transparent.
Weaponmon no longer pushes Order members.
Fixed an issue where Weaponmon could not trigger certain Traits.
Fixed an issue where players leaving the lobby could still be picked up. Picking up someone on their way out was a bit much.
Fixed an issue where using the Goblin Club together with the Cleanup Trait did not correctly double dropped items.
Fixed an issue where flame effects from the lava path could remain on Order members' screens after defeating the Magnis boss.
Fixed an issue where giant ore summoned by the Goblin Club during the Sparkle Ice Pop Challenge would not have a Trait.
Fixed a targeting issue where Necromancy spirits could not detect staggered bosses and would stop moving.
Fixed Kingdom Upgrade options so they also respond when hovering over or clicking their descriptions.
Fixed an issue where blue lightning effects could be invisible in certain environments.
Fixed an issue where weapons that had not yet been unlocked could appear in Weapon Chests during the tutorial.
Fixed an issue where acquiring a grave-related Trait while already in a grave caused its effect to apply only from the next death onward.
