Hello all!
Thank you for all the reports in reviews and discussions - this update is built directly from them. Big ones first:
🛠️ Machine & furniture upgrades fixed
- Fixed upgrading coffee machines, racks and tables being impossible since 1.0.8.
- Upgrading, moving and setting a price no longer fight over the same click. Everything you do to an object is on the left mouse button; right mouse is now the second interaction (for example pulling products off a shelf into the box you're holding).
- Fixed the hold ring freezing when your aim drifted off an object while you were still holding the button.
- Fixed missing icons for Tier 2-4 coffee machines.
💾 Your items no longer vanish
- Fixed items disappearing from Epic racks, Rare fridges and top shelves every time a save was loaded - and repurchased items never selling again afterwards.
- Fixed half-loaded stores being saved over your real progress.
- Fixed a save conflict that could happen when the game saved twice at once.
📦 Boxes & restocking
- Fixed cardboard boxes losing count of what's inside them - products multiplying as you filled a box, a box insisting it held items it showed none of, and counts resetting to the wrong number after a reload. A box and its contents are now always the same thing.
- You can now pull products off a shelf into the box you're holding by right-clicking the shelf itself, not only its price tag.
- Fixed the price tag hiding the change price option whenever your hands were full - you can now reprice a product while carrying an open box.
🏷️ Action prompts
- Fixed the prompt in the corner going stale while you stood still. Place item no longer stays hidden after you fill a box at the shelf you're looking at, and prompts for things you can no longer do now disappear instead of lingering.
- Fixed prompts piling up on top of each other - old ones stayed on screen and nothing cleaned them up, so the hint area filled with duplicates the longer you played.
🏬 Backroom
- Boxes of the same product now stack into one tile with the combined count, instead of a separate tile per delivery.
- Take out hands you one box, Sell sells the whole stack for the price shown - and the panel now tells you how many boxes you have and how many units are in one.
- Fixed product icons in the backroom going blank while scrolling or after reopening the tab, along with the crash that sometimes followed.
🧾 Buying & money
- Fixed order carts that took your money without delivering the goods - the game now refuses to charge you if the order can't be created, and delivery times self-correct for unusual cart totals.
- Fixed the end-of-day report overstating your earnings - carts with several items were counted multiple times. The report now matches the cash you actually earned (you weren't imagining it!).
- Customer interest in long-running products is now visible: when shoppers start getting bored of an item that's been on sale for many days, you'll get a heads-up toast with what to do about it (discount it, or take it off sale for a day to renew interest).
👷 Workers actually show up now
- Fixed hired workers sometimes never appearing - one worker failing to arrive could silently block all future hires until you restarted the game. The game now retries on its own during the day.
- Fixed re-hiring after a store upgrade leaving you with a broken, unresponsive employee instead of a fresh one.
- Fixed one bad payroll entry blocking wages for every other worker.
- Fixed the "dirty floor/window" notification staying on forever after your cleaner (or you) cleaned up.
🚪 Checkout & customers
- Fixed customers getting stuck in the checkout queue and the store refusing to close (several related causes - including the queue not releasing customers and the "remove customers" action failing).
- Fixed price tags briefly showing another product's discount.
- Fixed a crash when the cashier auto-served a customer who had just left.
🎨 Decorations
- Fixed a crash when equipping the outside plants and outside lamps decorations.
- Fixed shopping trolleys clipping through the environment.
🖥️ The game looks better
- Colours got a full pass. Bright surfaces keep their detail instead of turning into flat white blobs, and smooth colour transitions no longer show ugly bands.
- Cleaner image, no more smearing. Customers and staff walking past no longer leave a ghost trail behind them, and the picture is genuinely sharper.
- Day and night finally look like the same cafe. Sunlit brick no longer glows white, and the evening is warm instead of washed-out grey.
- Fixed buildings and shopfronts turning black around dawn and dusk.
- Street windows and glass now reflect the world around them instead of looking like flat grey panels.
- Fixed your VSync setting resetting itself every time you changed the graphics quality. It sticks now, along with your frame limit.
- The game now opens in a 1920x1080 resizable window, instead of a small fixed one.
- On the lowest graphics setting, characters no longer bend strangely at the shoulders and hips.
- Fixed the first moments after launch looking different from the rest of the game.
🧯 Stability
- Fixed a startup crash that could happen on some machines right after launch.
- Fixed the error popup itself crashing - if something does go wrong, you'll now actually see the message instead of a silent freeze.
- Fixed a crash when hovering over an empty shelf slot in the laptop inventory preview.
- Fixed several rarer crashes and added better diagnostics so the remaining ones get found faster.
🌍 Localization
- Fixed untranslated placeholder text in the Spanish promotion timers.
