Two Years Already! 🎉
It has already been 2 years since 5Crowns was released on Steam, and 1 year since the new version, revamped with the HoriZon team, was released.
New Content:
New Playable Characters
Members of the Obsidian Blades are now playable.
New Chapters
Chapter 7: In this chapter, you will have the choice of facing the Royal Army of Bianké.
or the Emeriths of the Solar Hand!

Chapter 8: Follow Merlin, Sorra, and Trystan in their quest for Reality, a journey that may well change how you see the world of 5Crowns.

Chapter 9: Play as the Obsidian Blades as they take on a hideout filled with fanatics devoted to the Sleeping Goddess.

Classes and Progression
Balancing and reimplementation of the various Tier 2 classes.
Implementation of the class promotion system.
Added branching choices during promotions.
Added descriptions for every class.

Name Changes
Knight has been renamed Infantryman.
Soldier has been renamed Lancer.
Balance and Gameplay
Chapter 6
Enemies now ignore Agraé's defensive skill during this chapter. It is therefore even more important to keep them from reaching her.

Shops and Items
Stock from previous chapters is now retained: certain exclusive items can be purchased later in limited quantities.
Added various hidden items to specific tiles on the maps.
Added and revised item descriptions.
Added a shop icon. Finally!

Interface and Readability
Added a clearer display for detailed combat statistics.
Added new indicators to identify:
dangerous enemies;
units that can be spoken to;
units with a high critical-hit rate;
units that share a support bond with the selected character.

Controls
Xbox 360 controllers are now supported.
Other controller models can be configured or tested through the game.ini file in the game folder.
Keyboard and mouse controls can now be remapped directly in-game.

Text and Immersion
Added and revised descriptions for playable characters.
Added and revised descriptions for generic units.
Added unique death quotes for the different characters.

Experimental Features
TEST: added emotions and expressions for the first set of characters.
