This is the day we’ve been looking forward to for what feels like an eternity. But now the wait is over. And R-Type Delta: HD Boosted is finally released!
The story of R-Type Delta began even before the turn of the millennium, specifically in 1998, when the original game was launched. It immediately became a beloved classic and is still considered one of the greatest shoot ’em ups of all time. Getting to work on a title like this has been a dream come true and a huge honor. The new HD Boosted version comes with several improvements, including higher resolution and an optional soundtrack composed by some true video game music veterans, including the legendary Chris Hülsbeck.
R-Type Delta: HD Boosted launches digitally today on Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC. And for those who want a physical edition, it’s coming on December 4. Christmas is arriving early this year! (Who would have guessed that Dobkeratops would make such a great Santa Claus?)
We hope you’ll enjoy this science fiction classic, whether you played it back in the day or this is your first dance with the Bydo. In any case: good luck! You’re going to need it...
