The Alpha Test happens on the Steam Demo App (Vaultbreakers Demo). Make sure to update your game before playing co-op, or you won't be able to find your friends!
The Alpha Test ends on October 21st at 23:59 CEST.
NOTE: Japanese localization is not fully complete, and there will be some strings in the game that will appear in English.
The Demo & Alpha Test: What's the Difference?
The Demo is an introduction to Vaultbreakers with restricted content. You can experience the core gameplay systems on our first map (Wolfswood) in our PvE difficulties, and play as two Vaultbreakers: Nymera & Bjornir. The demodoesnot include a PvPvE mode.
The Alpha Test gives you broader access to Vaultbreakers with additional content and features, including the PvPvE experience (the Breaker difficulty). You'll be able to play all five Vaultbreakers and explore an additional map: Scraplands.
Scraplands will only be accessible in Breaker (PvPvE) difficulty during the Alpha Test. We plan to make Scraplands available in PvE difficulties at launch.
All progress from the Demo will be carried over to the Alpha Test.
Once the Alpha Test ends on October 21st at 23:59 CEST, the Demo will return to its regular content, meaning Scraplands will be locked and Nymera and Bjornir will remain available to play.
Don't worry, though: all the items and gear you earned during the Alpha Test are yours to keep!
