Hello Scions! Hope you had a pleasant summer, full of snakes and flowers. We've been hard at work since we've gotten back from vacations, and today is the day where we release a new patch. This new patch is mainly focused on two things: Removing RNG based progression and revamping the gameplay loop a little bit.
| Previously there were some major weapons and classes that required RNG to unlock. We have reworked these to require specific actions from the player to unlock, so it should no longer be possible to go 80 hours without having the opportunity to unlock these items. The gameplay loop changes how the player levels up, receives seeds and upgrades seeds. Previously you gained one attribute point to distribute on each level up, we're changing this so you get three points to distribute, but it takes more blood to level up. Seed choices are now exhaustive. So once you have picked a seed you will not be offered it again at later seed choices. "But how do I upgrade my seeds?" you say? The insights that drop from some elites and the nutrunners no longer give you random stats, but instead allow you to select one of your seeds to upgrade. These are experimental changes, and we're looking forward to your feedback and opinions. |
We've also added a couple more player colors both to the base game and the supporter pack and now allow all players to select their color freely. So now all players can run the same color, if they so choose. If you want to change color you'll find that option in the settings.
This among with a plethora of fixes and changes and adjustments.
