Hey everyone!
We are back with a major milestone update: Patch 1.1.0!
In this update, we’ve completely overhauled our multiplayer framework to address regional connection issues. We noticed that our previous Epic Online Services (EOS) integration was causing connectivity hitches in certain regions. To fix this once and for all, we have fully migrated to Steam Networking, which provides a much more stable and seamless experience globally, especially for our players in regions like China!
Alongside this network overhaul, we’ve tracked down and eliminated several lobby-related bugs to ensure a much smoother, hitche free gameplay experience.
Here is what’s new in v1.1.0:
Steam Networking Integration: Replaced the EOS framework with Steam’s native network infrastructure to resolve regional connectivity issues and dramatically improve connection stability worldwide (especially in China).
Lobby & Matchmaking Bug Fixes: Resolved underlying issues with creating lobbies, joining existing sessions, and host-client syncing.
Performance & Stability Boost: Refined network code to ensure smoother overall gameplay and eliminate mid-session disconnects.
Thank you all for your continued support, bug reports, and feedback! We hope you enjoy the smoother co-op experience!
