Greg poured care into the smallest detail of Kimono Cats, so as to convey its cultural depth as faithfully as possible. This wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable help of the exceptional people who assisted him in this project. 😻👘
A true master of minigames assisted in the creation of festival activities at Kimono Cats. Ferry Halim is the lead programmer of the game and also a hugely experienced designer of literally hundreds of mobile games. He easily brought Greg's ideas for mini-games to life. ✨
(Greg’s favorite mini-games? Catching Fish 🐟 or Runaway Ramen 🍜 – he just couldn’t decide!)
The accurate portrayal of the Matsuri tradition was overseen by Greg's friend from Japan 🗾– Mamiko Suehiro. With her deep cultural knowledge 🎎, Mamiko reviewed every aspect of the game, making suggestions and changes, perfecting the smallest detail of the game.🏮
As for the vibrant look of the festival itself – that’s the work of two incredibly talented female artists from Thailand. But more about that in the next story.
