Hey everyone!
We wanted to share a quick update with you.
We’ve decided to move the release of Inkwellers to late Q1/early Q2 2026. The game is very much alive and in active development — we’ve just been a bit quiet lately.
The reason? As You may know, Inkwellers is a project we work on in our spare time, alongside full time jobs. Over past few months these were pretty demanding, and on top of that a lot of other things were happening that required our attention. We were making progress when we could, but it just wasn't enough to also allocate time for updates/media, we decided to use that time to work on the game itself.
As for Kickstarter, we decided to not go on with that, due to reasons cited above. Kickstarter rewards and goals came with additional workload, that most certainly would impact the release date even further given the circumstances.
But all that being said, We are back! And we’re coming at full speed! From now on, you can expect, regular updates, and plenty of behind-the-scenes looks as we move closer and closer to release. The final stretch is officially on, so stay tuned! Below are a few screenshots from our recent work — and you can expect many more very soon
Thank you for your patience and support!
