We're thrilled to share the news that in just over a week since releasing The Long Dark's Community Localization Pipeline, there are already 14 Community Translation Modules available in our Steam Workshop, including language support for:
* Japanese
* Spanish
* Chinese (Simplified)
* Chinese (Traditional)
* Turkish
* Polish
* Italian
* Danish
* Korean
* Finnish
* Portuguese
* Russian (alternative)
* Czech
* Romanian
* French
These are in addition to English, German, and Russian.
TO ACCESS TRANSLATIONS
Simply go to our Workshop Page, and subscribe to the Translation Mod you want. Restart your game, and you'll then find that language as an option in the Language Selection drop-down menu in the game's Display Settings.
A NOTE TO COMMUNITY TRANSLATORS
In the Community Translation Spreadsheet, we included translations for French Canadian, Swedish, and Norwegian. These languages are simply waiting for someone to take them and turn them into a language mod!
