Hello again homies (?), I'm back with an update for the playtest for To Build a Home. Some of your suggestions have been included, and some bugs have been fixed. Fresh, new bugs have been included however, to keep things balanced. Additionally, a big change that has been in the oven for a long time has been introduced in its initial form: an overworld!

Bugs
Fixed drinking cola not working
Fixed crash when trying to drop objects after changing maps
And more that I forgot to write down.
Quality of life changes
Job selection window improved with new data
New cursor to indicate where character can walk to
New start info window with less dev-speak and more useful information for players
Help menu button on the top right
Personality traits simplified
Toggle for fullscreen/windowed mode in the ESC menu (good for streaming, wink wink)
New Overworld
The old travel menu is gone, and has been replaced with an overworld. After leaving home through the front door, the character can walk around the city. Walking to a public area makes it possible to enter, same with coming back home. A test "rabbit hole" location has been added, for smaller locations that can be interacted through menus. Using the filters on the overworld menu you can show or hide markers for the locations that can be visited at the moment.
Pressing the map button on the top left while inside a location allows you to check out the map without having to leave the current location.
I hope you enjoy the new version! As always, any comment or bug report, either on discord, on the feedback form, or around here is much appreciated.
