THE PATCH NOTES
Update 1.6.0 - Fragmented Existence
LEVELS
We've remembered we have two new levels - Fragmented Existence by f2, and whats a keygen? by UsernameHere!
All caps or no caps? We've pieced together two new charts - NISENEN now has a Hard 8 difficulty by Bekko, and heptagramme now has an Easy 7 difficulty!
We've ran the numbers, and cloud factory's Hard was uprated from a 10 to an 11 - likewise, the numbers show that NISENEN Expert has been downrated from 12 to 11, and BLOW A FUSE Easy has been downrated from 7 to 6.
Triplet Test has been slightly tweaked - remember to tune your piano!
BEATROCK (get it?)'s tunnel background is now much easier on the eyes in Low VFX mode.
FIXES
If you play with a gamepad, good news - we've fixed the repeating inputs bug!
Our artists have whipped up a handful of new achievement icons that you can find in the in-game achievement menu!
EDITOR
Our existence is expanding. There's now an entire 3D decos system! Now you don't have to write shaders with the model data stored within them! We recommend using Blockbench or Blender, and we require exporting and importing models as .obj files.
Our regular old decos can draw to new Deco Canvases - split your stuff into layers, and render them onto the scene with another deco with the canvas ID as the sprite! For instance, if you have a canvas with an ID of "clouds", you'd render it with a deco that has the sprite field as "@canvasclouds"! Shaders work with these. Go nuts.
Decos now have a new rotation mode selector! This replaces the orbit checkbox.
Eases and shader uniforms now have a choice between setting and adding values to a variable, as well as adding randomly and setting randomly within a range!
The deco ID field now has an entire syntax system - you can do "clouds[1..3,50,abcd]" to change clouds1, 2, 3, 50, and cloudsabcd at the same time!
Certain advanced features, like Shaders, 3D Decos, and Canvases, are now hidden by default to make the editor friendlier for new users. Unhiding these features can be done by checking a checkbox underneath the event palette.
