We also answered a few questions on today's stream, and they are as follows:
The August Update is coming up soon!: The main part of the August Update is focused on releasing the split event timers across NA and EU. We've done a lot of testing between our internal builds and ETS, and we are very confident in the split schedule. We'll be getting you the exact times of your events up next week, so look forward to a post on that in the Announcements forum!
The August Update is currently scheduled to be released on August 17 and will include new limited time events, the Event Timer split, and a bit more...
A word on the Zodiac Festival's start time: We took a moment to let everyone know that we will be releasing extra Festival Coins to make up for the rocky start of the Zodiac Festival. The lack of festival law in Solzreed was due to a mismatch between the event's starting time and scheduled server maintenance. Festival law is only enabled when the server restarts, and that lead to the issues that we found early in the event.
Remember that Global PvP Tournament? Well...: ...it's coming. Next week we are excited to announced all of the gritty details of our first 10 v 10 organized PvP tournament! Assemble a team of anyone on your region (even those in opposing factions or another server) and see if you can beat the best of the best.
Additionally, to make sure everyone had a fair experience, we've split the tournament up into two separate tournaments. Europe will fight in their own tournament at the end of September, while North America will take to the field in early October.
We'll be officially announcing the rules and details of the tournament next week, and signups will start on August 22nd!
So let's talk Mysterious Garden Powder: The community started a very pointed topic towards the rarity of Mysterious Garden Powder[/url] in the game. We are aware of how rare it is and we have a temporary solution in the works. Mysterious Garden Powder will be added as an event reward in an upcoming event as a temporary measure, and we'll look at more permanent changes for the future. The idea is to slowly re-introduce powder back into the economy until it's at an acceptable level.
Finally, a word on class balance: The chat asked us thoughts on if Darkrunner was OP or not, and we took a moment to address class and skill balance in general. Many classes have come under fire over the last year and a half. We believe Darkrunner does come down to skill and use. Yes, it has a high amount of damage, but there are other skill changes coming in future patches which may change that. Darkrunners have stuck around in the meta through thick and thin, and we'll see how players continue to build with changes included!
