With players still testing out the previous balance changes, it was time to shift focus on making the game more player friendly! To that end the latest Demo update includes the following:
Control re-binding:
- All keys/buttons can now be rebound in the Settings screen or Pause menu
- There are separate bindings for keyboard or controller, and the rebinding options will dynamically change based on which you are currently using
- The controller images default to Xbox, but should work with almost any controller including Steam Deck
- PS5 controller images will appear instead if that controller is in use - other images will be added later
In-Game Options Menu
- Pausing with Start (Controller) or Escape (Keyboard) now shows the full options menu
- The Settings screen has been updated to include a section for re-binding controls I hope these changes make playing a bit more enjoyable!
