The Playtest now has full written support for English, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil), German, Japanese, French, Turkish, and Korean.
Choose Language at the top of Options. On first launch, the game follows your Steam or browser language when it is supported, and you can switch later without restarting.
What changed
- Menus, the HUD, management panels, achievements, Research, story captions, tooltips, notifications, credits, and every Owner Mode game's rules and results are now localized.
- Money, percentages, odds, time, multipliers, and large numbers now follow the selected language's formatting. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean also use fonts selected for their scripts.
- All nine translated catalogs received a second editorial and in-game review. This corrected mistranslations, inconsistent casino terms, incorrect control names, grammar around changing values, and text that did not match the result shown on screen.
- Fixed clipped or crowded text in machine controls, Slots results, Sportsbook boards, Moonshot Crash, cards, and other mini-game displays. Long European text and Chinese, Japanese, and Korean line breaks now have more room where they need it.
- Fixed Start Last Call occasionally skipping the authored ending and going straight to Demo Complete.
- Clarified several achievement and unlock requirements so their wording matches the actual rules, including Penny Pincher's machine requirement, Tight Ship's qualifying security roles, Blue Chip's floor-value target, and House Style run counts.
English remains the only Full Audio language. Existing story captions are localized, while spoken lines without captions remain in English.
Save note
Existing saves update automatically. Cash, machines, staff, Research, achievements, mastery, and other progression are preserved.
The Activity panel's old history is cleared once when an older save is updated. Those entries were stored as finished English sentences; new Activity entries can now render in whichever language you select.
This update does not change casino balance, payouts, prices, or progression targets.
