Frontier Legends – Major Content Update #2.6.1

Howdy Legends,

Our first major content update is now live!

Important: Because of the significant changes included in this update, we strongly recommend starting a fresh game. Existing saves may not work correctly with all of the new systems and content.

This update also marks the launch of Phase 1 of Dedicated Servers. As this is our first release of dedicated server support, please expect bugs, balancing issues, and occasional server problems. We will be actively monitoring feedback and releasing fixes and improvements over the coming weeks as more players begin hosting and joining dedicated servers.

Build Your Settlement Your Way

One of the biggest gameplay changes is that we have moved away from pre-built houses and fully embraced a modular building system.

Players can now place foundations, walls, doors, roofs, and other building pieces to create their own unique homesteads and settlements. You'll still begin by placing a Campsite to claim your land, but from there you'll have complete freedom to build and expand your settlement however you like.

Three New Zones Opened

The frontier has expanded with three brand-new zones now available to explore.

While we still have additional work planned for the towns and points of interest in these areas over the coming weeks, adventurers can already travel to Timberfall Camp, where you'll find:

  • A new general store

  • A new Gunsmith with unique items for sale

  • New wildlife throughout the expanded world

  • Additional bandit hideouts to discover and clear

  • New resources to gather

New Crafting, Loot & Rarities

With the addition of new resources, players can now craft a wider variety of tools, weapons, and items.

We've also introduced a Rarity System for all tools and weapons. Keep an eye out for:

  • Uncommon

  • Rare

  • Epic

  • Legendary

Finding a high-quality weapon could make all the difference when facing the dangers of the frontier.

New Quests & Rewards

Several new quests have been added throughout the world. Some of these can provide valuable rewards early on, helping new players get established faster while rewarding exploration and progression.

Complete User Interface Overhaul

One of the first things players will notice is the extensive UI redesign.

We've updated the entire interface to better match the atmosphere and style of the Wild West while improving usability across the board.

Changes include:

  • Larger inventory slots for better visibility

  • Improved interaction interfaces

  • More polished menus and layouts

  • Updated visual styling throughout the game

  • New loading screen tips while the game loads

Our goal was to make the game feel more immersive while also making information easier to read and manage.

What's Next?

This is only the first phase of our content update plans. Over the next few weeks we'll focus on:

  • Dedicated server improvements

  • Bug fixes and balancing

  • Additional polish for the new zones and towns

  • Community-requested improvements

  • Additional hotfixes

Once those updates are complete, we'll move on to the next major content release.

Thank You

As always, we want to thank everyone for your continued support, feedback, bug reports, and suggestions. Frontier Legends continues to improve because of the incredible community helping us shape the game.

We're excited to see everyone exploring the new frontier and joining us on dedicated servers.
