Hello everyone,
We’d like to thank all of you for the incredible support and feedback following the announcement of Frontier Legends. A special thank you to IGN for featuring our trailer, the response to our first reveal has been enormous and our community has grown exponentially. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and support.
Our team is currently hard at work preparing the next release of our demo, and we’ll be announcing soon when it will be available for everyone to play.
Based on community feedback, one of our main focuses for this demo is settlement building, starting with the introduction of our first settlement type: Farming Plots.
Players will be able to purchase a farm plot and begin developing their own frontier homestead. You’ll be able to place resource buildings such as a woodcutter’s hut and other production structures, then hire workers to gather resources on your behalf. This marks the first stage of settlement development and introduces multiple tiers of workers with varying efficiency.
Workers will require proper housing to maintain their happiness and productivity, so building homesteads will be essential. When night falls, workers will return home to rest making settlement management an important part of growing your frontier.
We’re also improving animations and expanding NPC interactions to make the world feel more alive and dynamic.
NPCs will follow daily routines and perform specific jobs during different times of the day. When night falls, some may gather at the saloon for social time, while others return home to rest. You may even learn valuable information from a character who’s had a few too many drinks!
Late at night, when many characters are asleep, observant players might find opportunities to quietly scavenge items from shops to avoid being noticed.
