Hey everyone,
next to Nordhold, we have quietly been working on something new for quite a while now: our second game, Chaincast (yes, like the relic, but this time it is a whole game 🙂).
Chaincast is an asynchronous PvP roguelike auto battler. You build a squad of five units and line up their skills in an order that chains into combos. In battle, they set off a chain reaction that grows stronger with every link. Change the order, and a different chain emerges from the same pieces.
Choose between 24 classes and develop skills, talents and gear for each unit
Runes modify your skills, so the same skill can play out in a completely different way
Battle the squads of other players, or challenge your friends directly
Take your best build into Ranked and outthink other players on your way to the top
Chaincast is coming in 2027. If it sounds like your kind of game, we would be really happy about a wishlist. It helps a small studio like ours more than you might think.
You will also find Chaincast in Nordhold's main menu, with a little Honor thank-you for taking a look.
And do not worry, Nordhold is not going anywhere. The new Weekly Challenge has just started, and we will keep looking after it.
Thank you for playing Nordhold, and see you on Discord!
