The town gets its first thing to do: drive out to the mine, dig ore, haul it back and sell it, then buy a better drill and a bigger truck. The whole interface has also been rebuilt in an MMO style.
[Mining]
· Drive out through your home's garage door to reach the mine. Walk up to an ore vein and press E to dig: you hold four cards and play them one at a time.
· The drill heats up. Every card adds heat, and a full heat bar jams the drill for a moment. Keep playing to build a combo, and play while a weak spot glows for double damage.
· Twenty cards in four styles, plus drill modules (cooling fins, a metronome, an overload coil...) to build around.
· Auto-dig is there too, but it is slow, never combos and yields only 60%. You unlock it for an ore type after breaking three of them by hand.
· Your bag holds very little: unload into the truck, then haul the load back to town to sell.
[The town]
· Market Street is new, just left of the station. The Outfitter, the Garage and the Buying Post each have their own shop, with a trader behind the counter. Ore prices change every day.
· The residential lane now has only players' houses. Your truck parks in your home's garage, but it cannot drive into town.
· Buy a vending stand for your home: while you are there, visitors can buy your ore.
· Steam names now show above heads. Click another player to add them as a friend or view their profile.
· Characters are saved: create several, or delete them. Four new characters to choose from.
· Esc opens the system menu (continue, change character, main menu).
[Interface]
· Player frame at the top left; minimap (press M for the full map) and today's prices at the top right; chat with All / Nearby / System tabs at the bottom left; function buttons at the bottom right.
· B opens the bag (bag and cargo pages), K the deck, C the character page (gear and drill modules).
· The town has its own music, and the truck has engine sounds and headlights.
[Other]
· The town is now available in English.
· The Maiden Voyage and the Long Voyage are unchanged.
Known issues: online play has not been tested at scale. If you cannot see other players, cannot enter a map, or a trade does not add up, please tell us in the community hub.
