Hey everyone!
This week, I’ve been focused on adding Steam achievements, polishing existing gameplay, and fixing reported bugs. As we get closer to release, my priority is making Wave Defense: Trappist feel stable, smooth, and satisfying to play.
Adding Steam Achievements
Achievements are a great way to give players a sense of progression and direction, rewarding them for key milestones while also encouraging them to experiment with different playstyles. Whether it’s exploring new worlds, mastering combat strategies, or simply capturing beautiful moments in Photo Mode, achievements will offer both recognition and subtle hints toward activities players may not have considered.
I want these to feel meaningful, not just like a checklist, so I’m carefully designing them to enhance the overall experience.
Polishing the Game vs. Adding More Features
Right now, I’m putting more effort into refining what’s already in the game rather than expanding systems or introducing new features. There’s a huge backlog of ideas I want to implement in future updates, but the focus at this stage is making sure that what’s in the game feels great to play.
Every mechanic, UI element, and interaction should feel intuitive, polished, and satisfying. The better the foundation, the more exciting it will be to expand on in the future.
Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements
With each patch, the game is becoming more stable and optimized. I’m prioritizing all reported bugs and issues I discover during testing. Every small fix contributes to a smoother experience, and it’s great to see the game running better with each update.
Now’s the Time to Share Your Feedback!
