Hello, Sunchaser fans!
The first version of Sunchaser is finally ready for release, and I am happy to announce that the game will come out on Friday, September 5th!
I have been working on this solo game project for about 3 and a half years now; can you believe that? Most of that hard work has gone into making the game content: core mechanics, art, music, and dialogue. However, I have spent the entire summer polishing up the core experience so that it is as smooth and fun as possible.
The game will cost $9.99 on Steam, and it will take 3 to 4 hours to beat the game. Since the game is somewhat short, take your time with it, interact with the characters, and look out for secrets.
I do plan on continuing to update the game after release. I will be a lot slower with updates, but I hope to add a few features that were cut from the first version because of time constraints:
The option to play as a girl
A post-game quest and an awesome reward for beating it
An extra collectible that can only be found at night and is used for purchasing secret upgrades from a second shop
I'm so excited for you all to try Sunchaser in just 2 short weeks!
Have a fantastic day!
