Hello, Explorers!
We've been watching your runs closely, and we noticed something: not nearly enough of you are getting your hands on the Icarus speeder.
While we intend the experience of journeying in the harsh deserts of Umbra to be dangerous, we also want to give our players the proper tools necessary to survive, as such:
🔧 The path to the Lighthouse was punishing players too harshly. We've turned down the heat to match the temperature of the Oasis to make sure players have had a fair chance to learn how long they can endure before succumbing to heat, so you can actually reach the amri canister needed to repair the Icarus.
🔧 Dying right before the Lighthouse and respawning all the way back felt brutal. We added a checkpoint so you’ll restart from the middle of the path, instead of going back to Gjorna’s cave.
These changes should make Icarus much more accessible without removing the challenge entirely.
As always, thank you for playing, reporting issues, and sticking with us. Keep the feedback coming.
