We’ve got some important, tough news to share, and we want to be as open with you as possible. When we first announced Middle Ages: Peasants & Knights, our goal was to release it by the end of 2025. As development progressed, it became clear that we’ll need significantly more time to bring the game to the quality we all deserve.
We’re now aiming for 2027.
We know that’s a huge delay, and we don’t take it lightly. We’re an indie team, and every dollar we invest in the game comes from other projects we work on. That means progress can sometimes be slower than we’d like – but it’s steady, and the game keeps growing.
The support we’ve received so far has honestly blown us away. Seeing so many people wishlist the game means the world to us. It also makes us feel a deep responsibility to deliver something truly special – not just another unfinished early access title or a promise that never comes true. We will not cut corners on quality.
Right now, we’re working on a substantial internal demo for investors and publishers which will be finished till Q2 2026. We want to share this work with you shortly thereafter (Q3 2026). You won’t be waiting two years for progress.
Even if we don’t secure external funding, we are fully committed to finishing this game. It might just take us a bit longer, as we need time to earn the resources to keep going. We don’t want to pretend or give you an optimistic 2026 date only to postpone again next year. We’d rather be honest and realistic with the 2027 target.
Thank you for sticking with us, even through this tough news. We’re not abandoning the project – not for a second, in fact we’ve been working harder than ever before. This game is our passion, and we’ll keep pushing forward until it’s everything we dream it could be.
