🚀 New Trailer, New Default Build (Legacy Branch Available)
I’ve just released a new trailer and made the latest build the singleplayer-only version of Spacelane Express.
This update reflects a clearer direction for the game:
a cozy, low-stress space trucking experience focused on hauling cargo, docking at stations, and cruising between planets at your own pace.
What’s new in the singleplayer build
Refined flight and docking feel
Clearer focus on transport-driven gameplay
A calmer, more atmospheric presentation
Improved overall flow and quality-of-life updates
The current build features a compact but intentional star system with 2 planets and 7 space stations, designed for relaxed, repeatable delivery runs.
About the legacy build
If you’ve played an earlier version of the game, that build is still available.
The previous version has been moved to a “legacy” branch, so you can continue playing it if you prefer the older experience. Nothing has been removed — the new singleplayer build simply represents the current direction of development going forward.
Early Access & feedback
Spacelane Express is in Early Access, and development is actively guided by player feedback. If you try the new build, I’d love to hear what feels good, what needs improvement, and what you’d like to see expanded next.
Thanks for flying,
