We come today bearing great news! We've been cooking something great, and it's finally time to release it: a brand-new Ultimate Mode, a completely revamped voice chat system, and multiple other changes! We're also celebrating with our first discount, with 33% off, so let's dive right in!
Content Update:
Ultimate Mode with a leaderboard
The session timer works differently in this mode. You start with only a few minutes on the clock, and each puzzle you solve adds more time.
All 10 puzzles are available in this mode.
Two escape routes are available: the garage door and the main door.
Achieving the best time with Ghost Aggressiveness set to Aggressive or Nightmare will earn you a spot on the leaderboard.
It gets unlocked when Level 4 is completed.
On 8 October, when the Autumn Sale concludes, we will reward the top pairs in Nightmare difficulty with the following:
1st place: $10 Steam gift card for each player.
2nd place: $5 Steam gift card for each player.
Both players have to record the gameplay from both perspectives and upload the recordings to Google Drive OR YouTube.
New Voice Chat Solution
We've replaced the old voice gate with an industry-standard noise cancellation solution that detects your voice and sends only your voice to the other player.
Fixed network latency causing voices to sound too muffled or heavily cutting out other players' voices.
Fixed random noise being reported even when you are not speaking.
What's Next for Us
We will start working on the new map and share updates about it as soon as possible.
We will update the demo to reflect the overhauled experience that the full game now offers.
