Retroware and Zenovia Interactive are excited to announce their partnership in Neon Inferno -- a hybrid side-scrolling gallery-shooter set in the dystopian New York City of 2055!
A demo will be available on Monday, February 10 as part of Steam's Couch Co-op Fest!
Take control of either Angelo Morano or Mariana Vitti as you operate as an assassin for The Family: a notorious crime syndicate determined to eliminate its rivals and dominate the metropolitan battlefield, striving for power against a corrupt NYPD and other crime syndicates, carving its own path through this cyberpunk jungle.
Key Features:
- Shoot close, aim far: A dynamic blend of side-scroller and gallery-shooter, where the action takes place in both foreground and background (like playing Contra and Wild Guns at the same time).
- Glorious 32-bit style: A sci-fi cityscape rendered in beautiful pixel art and backed by an evocative soundtrack.
- Two-player co-op: With danger lurking around every street corner, wouldn't you be better off with a friend?
- Satisfying arcade challenge: Enjoy a playthrough on an easier mode… or put your skills and resilience to the test with the 1-credit-clear Arcade Mode!
Blast, deflect, and slice your way through your enemies across a citywide battlefield.
Eliminate bosses at the end of every mission -- each one bringing something unique to the fight!
And never fight alone with local co-op and Steam Remote Play for up to 2 players!
