Due to a variety of factors, I am making a successor/improved version of Wild Realms as a standalone game. Wild Realms wasn't exactly as good of a product as I had hoped for personally, and I am eager to re-enter the game development scene by starting with a clean slate. The newer game will feature the same systems as Wild Realms, but with more time, effort, and care poured into it. I am also not going to give out ETAs on things as I am a solo developer and things can change quickly.
"Devonian Swamplands" as well as existing time periods and more will be included into the new game. Wild Realms will remain as-is for now on Steam.
I know this may be upsetting to some, but this is the best way I know how to improve the gameplay: by remaking the game from scratch.
