Major Demo Build Update!
Hello Pyron warriors,
This is Studio Doodal.
The Steam demo build of has received a major update.
Our development team has been steadily improving many parts of the game by incorporating player feedback.
If you update now, you’ll be able to play the latest build with many improvements applied.
※ As mentioned in the previous announcement, save data from previous demo versions will no longer be usable once you update.
Please make sure to check this before playing.
Main Changes
1. Difficulty Modes Added
To let players enjoy Solateria at a difficulty level that suits them, a difficulty mode feature has been added.
There are four difficulty levels in total, so you can choose the one that best fits your preferences.

If you’re comfortable with parrying and learning attack patterns, you can select the “Legendary Flame” mode to experience a much more challenging side of Solateria’s combat.
If you’re familiar with Metroidvania games but find action-heavy gameplay difficult, choose the “Traveler’s Path” mode
and enjoy the game under the effects of the “Traveler’s Guardian Stone.” Thanks to this stone, combat-related stress is significantly reduced.
You can freely change the difficulty in-game, but please note that you cannot change to a difficulty higher than the one you originally selected. You can, however, change to lower difficulties than your current setting.
2. Voice Acting Added
Voice acting has been added to bring much more life to the game! Our voice actors delivered fantastic performances.
Talk to NPCs in the game and listen to their newly added, distinctive voices.
3. New Default Parts Added
New parts are now provided by default when you start the game.
These default parts will be a reliable boost when you first set out to explore Solateria.

4. King Statue Presentation Added
tells the story of a journey to find the King, the only hope for saving the world.
Defeat powerful bosses, explore hidden areas, and seek out the King’s statues.
The “Core Stone,” which was previously given through item chests, can now be obtained by interacting with the King’s statues.
This change allows us to provide clearer visual feedback when obtaining important items.

5. Display of Acquired Information
In Solateria, certain NPC conversations, “Memory Fragments” found in the field, and “Info Slates” purchased from shops are all categorized as “Information.”
When you obtain information, the map will mark the locations of related places or objects.
Follow the arrow indicators to find important items and key locations!

6. Improved Early Tutorials
During previous events, we noticed that some players felt confused in the early sections due to insufficient tutorials.
In response, we have strengthened the early-game tutorials and added extra tutorial pop-ups for especially important elements.
We’ve also improved the terrain in early areas to enable more intuitive gameplay.
7. “Fast Return” Feature Added for the Library
After visiting the Ashen Library, you can use the “Fast Return” feature to return there from anywhere.
Even in the darkness of Solateria, the Ashen Library will always be open—like a lighthouse shining in the middle of a vast sea.

8. Enemy Flip Sensitivity Adjustment
Previously, even if you dodged an enemy’s attack, the enemy’s flip behavior was so sensitive that they could immediately turn toward the player and land a hit. We received feedback about this during Gamescom and other events, so we investigated and adjusted the sensitivity.
Now enemies no longer change direction as aggressively as before, resulting in a much smoother and more comfortable combat experience.
Beyond these, there are many other big and small changes aimed at making Solateria even more fun.

We always listen carefully to player feedback.
