Patch 1.08 allows you a small additional "romance" on the side, assuming that you decide to save two sisters from slavery. But beware, your main love interest, if any, may not be pleased.
It also adds very basic banking - you can now deposit and withdraw money from the loan shark and his "bank". This may be slightly useful if you are bad at savings or want a few dollars protected from bandits and in-game events. It allows you to withdraw even when "too tired to talk."
