Hello Heroes,
We can’t believe it’s already been a week since we’ve launched, and we hope you’re having fun with Monsters are Coming!
It seems the success rate on Hard mode has increased since our last update, but we will continue to evaluate and closely monitor this, especially with this new update we’re releasing today. We’re excited to introduce the Pick and Banish feature that we’ve spoken about in previous notes.
We will continue to squash bugs and work on some improvements in the coming weeks, but will slow down our update cadence with the Holiday Season approaching, to ensure that we aren’t making too many drastic changes at once. These adjustments are meant to be meaningful and with your feedback in mind, after all.
As always please let us know your thoughts over on Discord and in our Steam forums, and we look forward to going on this awesome Monsters journey with you
Here is the changelog for Patch 1.0.10.0
Balance and Changes
The Pick and Banish feature has been implemented! Before starting your next run, you can pick or banish any weapon or building you have unlocked through the meta-progression. Base content cannot be banished.
The main menu displays the objectives closest to completion, to keep track of your progress.
FPS are locked at 60 by default. This parameter can be changed in the settings.
Bug fixes
The detection triggers for the statues and the side paths challenges are now more accurate.
Fixed an issue where the controller could no longer move on the End Run screen.
Development Roadmap
What comes next?
The next update will add a couple of quality-of-life features, such as filters in the Collection. We are also improving the UI/UX to help you better understand the different types of buildings (towers, supports, adjacent supports…). We are also investigating several issues reported by the community, which can sometimes be difficult to reproduce. But be assured we are doing our best to assist Raw Fury Support Desk in their resolution.
They Are Coming: Noobs X Monsters Are Coming
Friend to the development team Overboy is launching their game Noobs are Coming into 1.0 later today, and we wanted to celebrate this by bundling our games together! In this arena rogelike, you take on the role as the Final Boss of an MMORPG, battling oncoming heroes either alone or in co-op. Check it out today!
