Language Support
We have added language support to make Airsoft Online more accessible to players around the world. The menu and in-game UI are now translated into multiple languages, including Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, French, Korean, German, Simplified Chinese, and more.
We will continue improving and expanding our language support based on feedback from the community.
Spotting & Pinging Mechanics
One of the biggest additions is the new spotting and pinging system. You can now ping objectives to quickly communicate points of interest with your teammates, making coordination much easier. In Normal mode, you can also spot enemy players. Once spotted, enemies are revealed to your entire team for 5 seconds, giving everyone valuable information during engagements.
Improved In-Game Communication
Objectives and important events now come with voice feedback. For example, when an objective is captured, players will hear voice lines informing them about the change in the battlefield.
Players will also automatically react to certain events happening around them. For example, if a grenade lands close to a teammate, they might shout "Grenade!" to warn nearby players and help their team mates respond quickly.
Player Reporting & Muting
To help keep matches fair and enjoyable, players can now report others directly through the leaderboard. Reports can be submitted for abusive voice communication, abusive text chat, or cheating.
Players who receive a high number of reports may receive a global voice chat ban. Additionally, you can now mute individual players locally through the leaderboard, giving you more control over your multiplayer experience.
New Utility Item
A new tactical tool has been added to the game: the Smoke Grenade.
Smoke grenades allow you to create cover wherever it is needed. Use them to safely advance toward objectives, cross open areas, support your teammates, or hold important positions.
Bolt Lock for GBB
One feature that has been requested by the community many times was the missing bolt lock functionality for GBB weapons. We have now implemented a first iteration of this feature.
Please try it out during this playtest and let us know what you think. Your feedback is extremely valuable, so make sure to share your thoughts and suggestions with us on our Discord.
