V0.4.2 Patch Release
Hey all, Tom here!
Thanks for playing the demo - it's been great to see your reactions and hear your feedback.
It's mostly been positive, which is awesome!
It goes without saying that there were some bugs y'all managed to find, and a few points of frustration. This small patch addresses some of those issues!
One major issue is how Saving/Loading was handled. I need to do some extra work to clean up loading and have it working 100% right, so I've disabled the Load option for now (sorry!).
We were eager to roll out these fixes, but don't worry - I'll bring back the Load Button in the next patch.
Quests assigned via the terminal have seen a major overhaul. We've cut some of the less engaging ones, and improved what we kept. It's a smoother more engaging experience all round.
Changes:
[+] Camera fixes for when in buildings (we know how annoying some of you found this issue!)
[+] End of Demo acknowledgement (Don't worry, you can still keep exploring)
[+] "Your progress will be saved" message added to exit screen menus
[+] Terminal quest changes
[+] A bunch of minor bug fixes and collider changes
