Early Access V 0.1 Hotfix #1
January 25th, 2026
Updates & Improvements
Increased river item collecting sound volume
Increased player running sound volume
Game no longer pauses when out of focus (it now only pauses when minimized), so you can play while doing other things
Daily coffee goal now shows a count to better understand how much is needed
Cafe closure now includes a warning and timer sound, so the day doesn’t end abruptly
“Clean the cafe” notification now has a blink animation to better grab attention (not cleaning the cafe can cause customers to stop coming in, which was easy to miss before)
Fixed double clicking coffee making or completing multiple orders with the same coffee
Fixed controller navigation issues in Build Mode related to hiding/showing inventory, time changing in Sandbox mode and tooltip getting stuck when hiding inventory
Fixed pastries sometimes showing a buy price of 0
Fixed infinite wall decor and standing menu issues
Fixed tooltip getting stuck during level up after switching panels
Latte art now correctly restarts when reselecting new latte art guidelines
Fixed Build Mode occasionally showing a blue screen
Fixed “Changes Applied” notification getting stuck in Settings
Chairs can now be placed anywhere in the bedroom, even without tables
Build Mode is no longer blocked when a task is active (this prevents soft locking yourself if items block your path to NPCs)
Added extra fixes and safeguards for situations where no customers were spawning
Fixed bedroom chairs being counted as cafe seating (this caused too many NPCs to spawn and get stuck after being served)
Plushies can now be placed on the terrace
Increased NPC pastry buying chance for better pastry selling balance
Twitch connection info is now saved (you won’t need to re-enter your details after restarting the game)
Miscellaneous minor bug fixes and stability improvements
Known Issues in progress (High Priority)
The following larger issues are currently being investigated and might take a bit longer to fix:
Twitch integration connection and !coffee command issues
Steam achievements not unlocking correctly
Save files not syncing between different devices
These are actively being investigated and are a top priority going forward.
