Since the demo's release, we've gathered valuable player feedback. Based on these insights and our playtesting experience, we've developed an updated plan that introduces new mechanics, such as an electricity system and rooftop construction, while refining existing systems, including water zone mechanics and building functionalities.
In this flooded world, we're implementing a power system. Although the main grid is down, survivors can still utilize generators to restore electricity at night and bolster their defenses.
Most buildings are underwater, but their rooftops remain usable platforms—vital remnants of civilization. Players will need to defend these rooftops while maximizing their construction potential.
Zombies now lurk beneath the surface, ready to attack boats that venture too close. We've removed previous area restrictions to facilitate smoother exploration, and players must clear infested waters to secure safe zones.
As dusk falls, zombie attacks become more intense, making robust defenses essential. Our redesigned building system shifts the focus away from boats, greatly enhancing usability.
These comprehensive changes promise to elevate the gameplay experience. Since the current demo no longer reflects these improvements, we've decided to suspend it. We will commence new testing once the updates are ready.
