Hello everyone,
I decided to release update 0.9 today as the Autumn Sale is now live.
This update introduces some user-requested features and addresses some issues that has come up recently.
Bug reports and feedback are always welcome, either on the Community Hub or our official Discord server.
- Fred, sole developer of Card Engine.
New
- Updated all achievement icons to align with the recent changes in Card Engine's design and aesthetic direction
- Added a new dropdown for selecting decks in the exporter that can be scrolled, for users with lots of decks
- Added tooltips to the image picker introduced in update 0.8 to display asset name/ids
- Exporting single images now uses card names as file names, with overwrite protection to ensure all cards are exported, even if they share the same name in Card Engine
- Updated the entire manual. It should now be up to date with the latest version of Card Engine
Improvements
- Tooltips are now triggered only by their respective interactable button, not by hovering over their dropdown menus
- Improved contrast in the font dropdown menu
- Improved contrast in the category dropdown asset menu
Fixes
- Fixed an issue where some built-in images had a 1px black line at the bottom
- Fixed a bug that caused importing .jpeg files to fail
- Fixed the tooltip toggle setting not applying to tooltips in the asset browser
- Fixed an issue where all decks' open states were saved as closed when exiting a project from the exporter window
- Fixed a clipboard bug related to copying and pasting positions
