The occasional issue with crashes has been fixed!
AI VJ would sometimes keep remnants of visuals in the PCs working memory for much longer than needed. This then would balloon its memory usage, sometimes even slowing down other software on the same machine, and eventually cause a crash of AI VJ.
It didn't normally show up for me as my setup has a lot of memory. But particularly on a machine with 8gb or less, it could show up in less than 2 hours with the 4k visuals, one user reported!
It was really tricky to pin down and fix. As leaked memory is memory not tracked by the code for cleanup. But this exact thing makes it hard to find where it's happening too! Turned out to be in the video player library we use; which has now been fixed!
