Hey folks! The wait is nearly over, DIG VR is hitting Steam VR in less than two weeks! We couldn’t be more excited to finally welcome you to Diglington, the quirky, mud-covered heart of the DIG VR universe.
Grab your hard hat, dust off that high-viz, and fire up your digger as it’s time to unearth what makes Diglington so special. Let’s dig in! (Yes, we went there.)
A Town Built for Digging!
Diglington is nestled in the county of Digshire, the only place in the world where a digger can fix absolutely everything. You’ll start out on your family’s humble farm, armed with a trusty (but rusty) digger and a dream. From there, it's all systems go as you build your very own digger company from the ground up!
Your first stop? Your new homebase, the hub, the birthplace of your future empire.
Your Home Base: Office & Workshop
Inside your base, you’ll find:
The Office: Your desk space and Job Board, where all your gigs are posted, from tiny tasks to massive undertakings and a few extras. Try typing some numbers into the phone on the desk, you might be surprised!
The Workshop: Store up to four machines here, from mini diggers to full-on beasts. It’s also where you’ll fix, customise, and prep for all the tough jobs ahead.
Digging Through the Town
Diglington isn’t just a place, it’s your playground and you won't just be digging in gardens or on building sites!
Sites to work on include:
🏛️ Diggson Manor - an epic stately home that requires maintenance to look it’s best!
🦴 Paleontology Site - time to get involved with some archaeology!
🌲 Diggerby Forest - filled with relaxing log cabins in this beautiful outdoor space maintained by the Forest Protection Group.
🧘 Zen Garden - a nice spot to relax AND DIG LOUDLY!
Steam VR Launch Incoming
DIG VR arrives on Steam VR in less than 2 weeks, and we can’t wait to see what you build, dig, and destroy in Diglington. Get ready to fire up your engines and take on the dirtiest, most delightful jobs the town has to offer.
