🤠 ⛏️Hello Miners!
As you know, currently we are working hard on Gold Mining Simulator 2. The demo version is still available and later this year we will release playtests for the multiplayer mode that will be available in the sequel. We know that you can't wait for it but in the meantime we made something and we come with great news regarding the first game - Gold Mining Simulator: Definitive Edition!
👥More info about the multiplayer mode tests
We want to share with you playtests so you would be able to dig gold together with your friends. The co-op mode for GMS2 should be available at the end of this year, but if something unexpected comes out we will release it in the beginning of the next year. Now you can try the mechanics of the sequel with a free demo, that just recently got a new update.
❓ Why a Separate Game Instead of an Update?
We know that when developers announce a "Definitive Edition," the first question is always: Why isn't this just a patch? We want to be completely transparent with you.
To achieve our vision for the Definitive Edition—specifically upgrading the graphics to URP and completely removing loading zones—we had to significantly raise the minimum hardware requirements.
If we released this as a standard update, we would be forcibly locking out a portion of our community who play on older PCs. By making the Definitive Edition a separate product, players with older hardware can continue enjoying the original Gold Mining Simulator uninterrupted, while those with more powerful rigs can experience the game in its ultimate form.
✨ What’s included in the Gold Mining Simulator: Definitive Edition?
We’ve been working hard under the hood to bring you the best mining experience possible. Here is what awaits you in the Definitive Edition:
Massive Visual Overhaul: Upgraded to the URP engine for vastly improved lighting, textures, and overall graphical fidelity.
All DLCs Included: The complete gold mining experience right out of the box.
No More Loading Zones! Enjoy a truly seamless world as you drive and dig without interruptions.
New Foliage System & Weather: A more immersive, living environment around your claims.
2 Heavy-Duty Machines: Expand your fleet with the massive Big Dump Truck and the highly requested Fuel Truck.
All-New Custom Game Mode: Tailor your mining experience exactly to your playstyle.
Stadium Floodlights: Keep the gold flowing through the night by illuminating your plots like never before.
Streamlined Plot Management: Manage your claims faster and easier directly via the in-game tablet.
💸 The 90% Discount for Upgrade Path
We deeply value our veteran miners. If you already own Gold Mining Simulator and all of its DLCs, we’ve got you covered. You will be able to upgrade to the Definitive Edition for as much as only 10% of the basic price!
