New character: Anubis the Immortal!
Fires scythes that home on an enemy until it dies.
Spell that freezes enemies around you.
IMMORTAL: Once Anubis joins you, he is there for good. If Anubis dies during a stage, he will return to your roster so you can always have him in your party (but he will lose some levels on death).
UNIQUE: Anubis is one of a kind, a special hero, a god of death. So you can only have one.
You can unlock Anubis by killing his Boss version, which is waiting for you at the end of the endless mode.
Includes new Steam achievements for Anubis.
New game mode: Boss Rush!
Get swarmed by bosses and see if you can survive for a full hour!
All of the enemies are mini-boss versions of the normal enemies, plus frequent “caged” boss events.
Unlock after completing stage 5.
New Steam achievements for progressing in Boss Rush mode.
Balance changes:
Most stages are now longer and more difficult.
Rebalanced enemies: Most are faster and have higher HP, but lower damage.
Healing potions can now be attracted from a distance, making them easier to collect.
Limited damage to characters, so even a very powerful enemy will not one-shot you immediately.
