Plant Budz 98 started as a joke game jam game that was a fake sequel to the original Plant Budz (also a jam game). Long story short, I was able to get the OG sound person on board to take over audio. He is pumping out tracks as we speak and they sound amazing. It's dancy, it's funky, it's perfect. That said, understandably so, he needs time to craft. I also need a smidge more myself.
I have a handful of people beta testing. So far the responses have exceeded expectations, but there are still bugs to squash. The cleanup of years of creative messes is always a bigger hurdle than it seems. Testing has started on Steam Deck and it's 98% functional! Some audio integration, icing, and sprinkles and it will be there! I appreciate everyone's patience and I'm so excited to release the budz.
