Our team is thrilled to announce that registration for the playtest of our adventure game Lost in the Roots is now open!
This is your chance to be among the first to step into the mysterious, living, and dangerous world where the past never lets go and the forest remembers everything. We are currently awaiting confirmation from Steam regarding the readiness of the current build, and as soon as everything is approved – we will launch the playtest. Its main goal is to show you the game itself and gather your valuable feedback to make Lost in the Roots even better.
What can you expect in the playtest?
You will immerse yourself in the beginning of Yakob’s tragic story – a man whose past has made him an outcast forever. You will experience the first day of events, where you take control of Trisha. The third day will also be available, featuring one of the most intense moments from the first third of the game – though we’ll avoid spoilers for now.
Prepare to explore eerie rooms, solve the initial puzzles, and feel how the colossal, living Forest begins to invade the characters’ minds, reflecting their darkest memories. Will you be able to unravel the first threads of this grim tale?
Don’t miss your chance to glimpse the world of Lost in the Roots before release – join the playtest!
