Hey Everyone!
Today’s the day! Pogo Rogue is finally leaving early access! This update includes:
- 8 new passive items
- 4 new weapons
- 2 brand new bosses
We really hope that you enjoy the new content! With this new release, we’re sure there’s one question: What’s next?
First of all, there are a few small things that we weren’t quite able to get done before today (bad week to get covid!). In particular, you can expect a few minor updates in the coming days: new music for the bosses, some new art, and a few other small things. We will also continue to seek out any new bugs or issues that need to be fixed! If you run into any bugs, please let us know!
Other than that, there is no roadmap for Pogo Rogue.
Does that mean there will be no updates to the game?
Not necessarily! You might still see the occasional update: a bug fix, new art, or maybe even a little extra content. However, simply put, Pogo Rogue is a completely free student game, and most of the team has had to move on. The result is that we’re unable to prioritize development on this project.
Second, follow us on social media!
If you’ve enjoyed Pogo Rogue make sure to follow us on YouTube, X, Instagram, or Discord! That way if we do make any big updates, you’ll be the first to know! Additionally, with many of our team members moving on to new projects in some capacity, we’ll make sure to promote any content they have made. So, if you enjoyed playing Pogo Rogue, there will be a decent chance you’ll enjoy their games as well!
Lastly, please share this game with your friends!
We’ve been blown away by your incredible support during the early access of this game. If we could ask for just one more thing, we’d greatly appreciate any support you can give in sharing Pogo Rogue! With the game being free, we are unable to do traditional marketing or participate in Steam Sale events. As such, every little bit of help you can give makes a huge difference!
We just want to reiterate how grateful we are to you for this experience. We are very proud of Pogo Rogue and are happy to see you all enjoying it! We are also grateful for your patience as we’ve had to adjust this release date over the past several months. We hope that you’ll continue to have fun bouncing to the top in Pogo Rogue!
